Albina Pashkevich, from Dalarna University and the Mistra Arctic Futures project From resource hinterland to global pleasure periphery? went on her second field trip to Nenets Autonomous okrug, Northwest Russia between 23-29 March.
Several project goals were achieved with this trip. The discussions concerning the present and future development of the tourism sector in Nenets okrug were carried out with the representatives from the following Departments and organisations of Regional Administration of the Nenets AO – Department of Education and Youth Policies; Department of International and Regional Affairs, information and communication (InformSvyazNAO), Department of Indigenous People.
